Hey everyone,

I am just joining because I just (finally) got my ears pierced (lobes).

I had them done a few times before I was 10, and never took care of them.. I was pretty young. So I am 20 now and finally decided to go get them done.

I have my belly button pierced, and it took about 6 months to heal, I did that 6 years ago.

What I am looking for advice on is my lobes. I am sure everything is fine, but I figured why not ask to be sure.

I have had them pirced for a week now, and havent really had any trouble. The first night they bled a little, I figured it was because I must have irritated it while I slept. and then one other night they bled a little as well, same thing. I havent had any puss, or "grossness" so I think its all good. This morning I was cleaning it and I noticed a TINY bit of "white", but it was SO small, I almost missed it. Could this just be part of the healing process? It isnt painful, or swollen, or even red. Everything looks okay in my opinion.

Someone told me I could put polisporin on them to reduce infection (if i were to get an infection) and speed up healing time, but I read that you shouldnt do that because there will be no air flow to the piercing... any thoughts on that?

and then the last question I had was, since I had them done a few times when I was younger, there was no tissue there. It was just skin, and you could feel that there was a hole there. Should it heal up faster because of this?

Any advice is great Smiley Thanks guys!
