My piercing is 4 months and 2 days old and just recently, I have discovered a really weird red piece of skin/flesh/bump hanging underneath the bottom.

Sorry for the crappy phone quality picture. It's underneath the barbell, so it's pretty hard to see. And when my piercing is completely dry, it prevents me from being able to push my barbell all the way down. It sort of sticks to it.

If it helps to know, I usually clean it once a day with a Saline Solution (for contact lenses/wound wash) soak for 10 min, or just Dial soap in the shower. I quit doing sea salt soaks because that would make the bump/red skin bleed. And I haven't changed the jewelery yet since when I've gotten pierced.

Anyway, I'm just wondering what you guys think it is? Keloid? Hypertrophic scarring? I'm going to the doctor's tomorrow to get a proper diagnosis, but I'm still worried and curious as to know what I can do to get rid of it or what it is. I've been putting tea tree oil on it for the past couple days b/c I've heard that helps with these sorts of problems.
