Ok so I've seen a lot of info on the internet and heard a lot of stuff from trusted (and not trusted) friends and family members. They are all aware that I plan to get my hips pierced and are putting their two cents in. Is dermal really better than surface?
Ok so obviously in order to answer the question there has to be some criteria:
Healing Time
Rejection Rate
Pain Level

Which heals faster? Which one is more likely to reject and how much do either of them hurt (1-10)
I had come to the conclusion using the internet and friends that dermal anchors would be the better option for hip piercings but I am so confused and there is a lot of conflicting info out here. I am getting my hips done in September. I would like to have a definitive opinion on whether or not I should get dermal anchors or surface piercings. Facts, statistics, and actual experiences are really helpful. I want to get my hips done and have the piercing for a long time with a pleasant experience and memories attached to it. So piercingforum.net, which one really is better when it comes to hips, dermal or surface?
