How's it goin' in all an' anyways,
Got a 2mm ear lobe piercing kit - forceps, needles H2Ocean spray etc - the hole jaysusin shabang by the look of it. Have it a couple of weeks now but hope to take a stab at it in the next few days. Any advice on the process would be helpful, i figure the needle must pass through the lobe in a centred and sterile manner, i suppose my real question is to do with the needle size, if anyone has experience using 2mm needles and the pros and cons of using them vs smaller ones.
Any info would be much appreciated

Went ahead and pierced them last week, took a bit longer than it usualy would, getting the closure ball into the ring took up a fair bit of time in itself, mind you i did ask myself what the hell i had gotten myself into - at one point i had two hands on the needle clamp trying to release it while the needle was through the lobe and the other clamp was locked tightly around it, otherwise all lookin good seems to be healing well, no swelling or infection to be seen as yet.
