I'm a big big man which naturally means that I'm affraid of needles. So, I decided that instead of just shoving a piercing stud through my ears, I would buy a gun and have my gf use it to pierce me. The gun came in the mail and the first thing I had to do was throw away the instructions. She draws the little dot on my left ear, lines up her shot, pulls the trigger and the gun is left hanging from my head with the stud half way through my ear. The tension was all the way off and it didn't have the power to go through my flesh. After about 10 minutes of prying on th egun to get it loose from the stud, I am finally able to push the stud the rest of the way through my ear. So, we turn the tension almost all the way up, draw the next dot, line it up, pull the trigger and the stud goes through so hard that it blows through the metal backing. Leaving me in that non pleasurable kind of pain that you earn in the snow when someone flicks your ear as hard as possible. The left ear wound up being dead center on my lobe. The right ear was almost into the cartlidge. Thank god everything evened out when I gauged my ears.
